The show was a vibrant display of design, art & modern fashion technique of fourth semester girls Krithika Jain, Safia and Pooja Nagaraj.
Asia’s premiere fashion institute Raffles Millennium International was host to REVE, a fashion show completely organized by the institute and the students., students from the prestigious school of fashion which is Asia’s best fashion institute presented their collections to industry heads, celebs, parents and fashion enthusiasts.
The show featured a wide selection of clothing from old school, cyber and modern gothic designs. Colour, embellishment, craftsmanship and high-tech approach to fabric manipulation was characterised ‘REVE’.
Reve included 6 ensembles by 3 differnent designers and was set in a dramatic mise-en-scene suggesting iconic gothic settings, such as the tree and and background visuals. Krithika one of the fashion designers said “Although popularly identified with black-clad teenagers and rock musicians, the gothic has also been an important theme in contemporary fashion, Gothic designs can be perceived as edgy, cool,
vampy and mysterious.”
The event showcased a plethora of gothic dressing style and fashion statements and was a vibrant display of design, art & modern fashion technique.
Mr. Terence Seet, Director, Raffles Millennium International expressed his excitement stating that, “When it comes to fashionand design, Raffles Millennium International is the melting pot of style, flair and flamboyance. It was great to see a show full of new talent and inspirations. It is a matter of pride that this fashion show was initiated, choreographed and executed by our students”
