at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet
on Sunday, 17.06.2012
‘Anjanaa nandanam veeram janaki soka naasanam
Kabeesamaksha hantharam vandhe lanka bayankaram’
With the divine blessings and spiritual guidance of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, elaborate arrangements are being made at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet for performance of PANCHA DRAVYA ABISHEKAM for the 9-foor SANJEEVI ANJANEYAR on Sunday, 17th June 2012 by 10.00 A.M.
SANJALAM POKKUM SANJEEVI RAYAR was installed at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet by Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal on 1.4.2007. Lord Hanuman was installed with the top open to the skies as he is the son of Vayu, the wind god and no space can bind him down. In His abode here, Lord Hanuman carries the sanjeevani mountain, the life giving herb using which he revived Lakshmana during the battle with Ravana. The mountain held by Him weighs 300 kgs. Lord Hanuman was installed with the help of a crane wherein he was lowered on to his designated pedestai from the top.
There are nine different facets of Lord Hanuman on the nine steps that lead us up to the idol. They represent the Nava Grahas. As you walk up to the main idol you have darshan of the 9 forms, which in itself helps one get rid of the Nava Doshas. They are often referred to as the Nava Ilakkana Purushar or the Nava Vyakarna Pandidhar.
Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal has made special arrangements for special pancha dravya abishekam, Vada Maalai, Vethalai Maalai (Betel Leaf Garland), Vennai Saathu (Butter offering), Thulasi Maalai, Fruit Maalai, etc.
All are invited to participate in this special abishekam and receive the blessings of Lord Hanuman to get protected from evil eye casting, to overcome hitches, to obtain courage.
