It was a moment for the state rank toppers of +2 and 10th students to rejoice on their victory and get praises for their hard work. The universal India Groups organized an esteemed platform to encourage the toppers by saluting them through mementos and also encouraged them to shine beyond the seas. Chennai Corporation Mayor Saidai Duraisamy presided over the gathering and honored the toppers with awards. He said students should obtain knowledge as wealth, not by memorizing for marks but for knowledge. His specified making a corporation school student as state topper is his lifetime aim and he would do it the next academic year. The corporation school students and the private schools students are acquired the same knowledge when it comes to XII std state exams, but it is always to be considered that though corps students join Engineering courses their drop out from the course is always high. This sounds slightly that corps students are not well trained to equip themselves for engineering courses. It is responsibility of Government to provide corporation students a quality education.

Bala, former school principal of DTEA New Delhi was awarded lifetime achievement award for her excellence in teaching past 4 decades.
Sushmita, Prabha Sankari, Karthika, Manikandan, Ashok kumar, Maheshwari, Sanjay Ganapathy were awarded as HSC toppers. Sreenath, Mitisha Surana, Anjala Begam, Ramya Shreesaa, Anandi and Pavithra were given 10th top awards.
Talking to www.mysixer.com the toppers say, “We should not look at any one’s preparation. And we should not fear seeing anyone’s preparation. We should work for our goal”. It was their victory mantra to have interest in studies and work hard.
Apart from award ceremony, they also announced the Vidhya Dhan, an education support scheme for underprivileged girl children, and about the education fair about to begin by June 29th at Chennai trade centre. Any academic year it may be, the toppers of the state are always an inspiration to upcoming buds. Congratulations to all the winners and stop not till the goal is achieved.
