Day 4 – the grand finale of Kingfisher Premium Chennai International Fashion Week 2012 Kingfisher Premium presented the grand finale range of ‘Summer Love’ by Pria Kataria Puri
The Kingfisher Premium Chennai International Fashion Week Grand Finale by Pria Kataria Puri based on the theme ”Summer Love”, brought down the curtains on Chennai’s biggest and most premium fashion event. The collection which was presented by Kingfisher Premium was a striking amalgamation of vintage geometric floral prints and vibrant bright hues like turquoises, fuschias, emerald greens, off-whites, and shades of browns and mustards.
Kick starting the grand finale extravaganza was Anuradhaa Bisani with a spectacular line of Indian Bridal wear. Models were seen draped in the beautiful nine yard and lehengas in festive colours. Anuradhaa charmed the audience with mesmerizing elements of translucent fantasy threaded with an artistic display of the entrancing collection.
Next on the ramp was Chaitanya Rao, the Chennai based designer renowned for styling the who’s who of Tamil cinema and Bollywood divas, who let his clothes do the talking. Having honed his craft at Thai designs his creations reflected his flair for illustrations and pattern making skills
Also showcasing his Nature inspired collection was Prabath Samarasooriya from Srilanka. Eccentric simplicity formed the core ingredient of the collection. Minis, Leggings, Kurtis, Kaftans, the collection was packed with bright hues, butterfly prints and more symbolized nature and feminine beauty.
