With the divine blessings and spiritual guidance of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal, arrangements are being made at Danvantri Peedam,Walajapet for celebrating the INDEPENDENCE DAY on Wednesday, 15th August 2012.
Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal has installed 4-foot BHARATH MATHA stone idol at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet sculpted by Sri Loganathan Sthapathy of Mahabalipuram. She is carved with India map backdrop & holding a flag and regular poojas are being done to her as she is also a form of Shakthi and Bhoomi Thayaar. Swamigal has made arrangements for Flag hoisting on INDEPENDENCE DAY at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet. Chandi Homam will also be performed for the global welfare as well as for the welfare of jawans, military, army, navy, airforce, marine persons & their families.
On this day, Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal will be rendering help to senior citizens, poor widows, 
poor and needy children without any discrimination of caste, creed, colour or religion and will be doing other charitable activities. Swamigal is also providing sustained support to worthy causes of orphanage & old age home, upliftment of Education of all kinds, aid of handicapped and poor children by aiding or assisting them with education, medical facilities.
All are invited to participate in the Independence Day celebrations and the Chandi Homam at Danvantri Peedam, Walajapet and receive the blessings of Gnanaguru Dr. Sri Muralidhara Swamigal.
