Action King Arjun has teamed up with Bollywood's renowned action master Tinu Varma for the first time for a Tamil - Telugu-Hindi tri-lingual.
Titled as Kaattu Puli, the film is the first Jungle Thriller in Tamil and Arjun plays the role of a saviour of 3 new married couples from a sensational risk in the highly notorious jungle.
Tinu Varma, the 7 time filmfare award winner for his action sequences in blockbusters like Veer, Gaddar, Border, Kutha Gawa is turned as the director of Kaattu Puli
Biyanka Desai plays the lead role and wife of Arjun in Kaattup Puli.
There are three more pair in this film: Mr India title winner Rajneesh - Miss India Sayali Bagath, Miss Assam Hanaya - Amith and Jahan - Jennifer are the other pairs play in this film.
The plot is fully action based. When Rajneesh - Sayali Bagath, Haya - Jahan and Jahan - Jennifer travel in to the deep forest, the encounter with a sensational risk. At that point they meet Arjun - Priyanka Desai couple in the forest. How Arjun rescues them is the remaining story.
The entire crew along with Arjun and other pairs have camped in the deep jungle of Thalaikonam, Kerala to shoot the film amidst lot of risk. They used more than 50 horses for the film and most of the time leopards try to attack the horse camp. To avoid any casualty, the crew has appointed armed securities along side the horse camp.
As the Action King believes his jungle sentiment, which was worked well for him in films like Jaihind, Kaattupuli will become another block buster in his crown.
The trailer launch of Kattuppuli held at 4 frames. Apart from the team Kattuppuli, Kalaippuli Thanu came and graced the occasion. He recalled the memories when he was doing Yar with Arjun. Its notable that from that movie only Arjun is being called Action King Arjun, of course Kalaippuli Thanu only named. The promotional giant of Tamil film industry also recalled the 100 ft cut out was erected for Yar movie.
