Our own Radhika Sarathkumar entered into cricket ground now. The most successful actress and TV serial producer one of the highest earning and very prominent among Indian TV industry showed her interest in cricket too.
We all very well know the most powerful things in India for connecting people and entertaining people are Cricket and Cinema. Radaan Media the biggest TV production company in south India, Sprint an ad agency and Rythm an event company joined together to play cricket with cine stars.
They formed Celebrity Cricket League CCL and announced 4 teams initially for the first session CCL will be held on second fortnight of January 2011. The Mumbai heroes , Telugu Tigers and Bangaloru Royals have been already introduced to media and fans and even they started wearing helmet and glow to play cricket.
CCL with the help of Nadigar sangam lead by Supreme star Sarathkumar announced the Tamil team consists of young bloods Surya,Vijay,Abbas, Karthi,Ramana,Vikranth,Jai,Naren,Jayam Ravi, Sham,Ramesh,Karthik,Arun Vijay,Prasanna and Amsavarthan. They re probables only ,the final team and the captain of the team Tamil will be announced later. Actor Abbas will co ordinate the team further and they will do practice regularly for the first session CCL. After having discussion with thousands of her friends actress Rathika Sarathkumar named Tamil team as "Chennai Super Stars" . Hope Chennai Super Stars will equally win trophies like Chennai Super Kings.Big stars like Rajinikanth , Kamalhaasan will also come and cheer the team CSS.
Though CLL started with 4 teams they re planning to include or introduce teams from all states in future. The prize money for the session 1 winner will be Rs 25 lakhs for runner up and other prizes will be informed soon. The matches will match the international standards like T20 international episode. Cheer leaders will also be there. League matches will be played for four days and final will be on a separate day. Apart from playing cricket there will be entertaining events will also be performed by Indian actors and actress. The matches will be telecast on a very popular channel. Every team will have a coach , manager physio and an Icon Player. We will have more celebrations on January lets enjoy the CCL.
